Okay I have never done this but today I have decided to give it a try. I put too much pressure on myself to be creative/biblical with every piece of writing. But how will you know I am a real person if I don't share silly/goofy/interesting things about myself! Thank you Barb for the tag! (Barb, you will not believe two of my facts. You will think I am copying you!)
7 RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME...
1. I love Doris Day Movies.
2. I am pretty over the top at Christmas. My house screams Christmas! I love it! My husband calls me "Clark" because he says I am like Clark on Christmas Vacation. Even the guest bathroom has a Christmas Tree! But now I have him all into Christmas lights on the house too!
3. I have severe TMJ and sleep in a night guard. Singing and cold weather make it worse and as much as I love Monte Cristo from Bennigan's, my jaws often lock up while eating one! Chipotle Burritos too!
4. When I was a little girl I wanted to be a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader. Well okay, I still do! But I don't think I could wear one of the uniforms and still praise Jesus! They are a little too revealing! Oh and the cellulite on my butt may make it tough too!
5. I love, love, love, love sushi!
6. I start playing Christmas music in November and my decorations are up before Thanksgiving! Yes, I am one of those!
7. I would love to be a Woman's Minister someday and speak and sing all over the world and take my husband and babies with me!
7 THINGS THAT SCARE ME
1. I have to pray my way over a bridge. When driving on the highway I really try to avoid bridges. There is one in Fort Worth and Dallas that will make me have a panic attack if I don't pray. Actually I hate driving on the highway. I really deal with fear while driving.
2. I am scared to drive in the rain. Terrified! I am scared to ride with anyone else driving in the rain. Big fights with my husband have happened because of this! He says I need to trust Him and trust God.
3. Scary Movies
4. Roller Coasters! I abhor them!
5. Dogs, Cats, animals. I am scared of animals. I do have a dog but we don't have much of a relationship.
6. I will fly but I am kind of scared of Airplanes. I do a lot of praying! The flight to Maui was tough.
7. I really struggle with fear a lot. I can't stand to hear stories of people loosing their children or husband. I just can't handle it. I don't like to think about it. I have to pray about this fear A LOT!

6. Fishing on our boat with my husband
7. Date night on Friday nights with Jeremy! Which means I love Grandparents because they watch the kids!

Amanda, I just wanted to say thank you for your sweet comments on my recent post. Don't be a stranger!
With your fears of bridges and driving in the rain I recommend you never move to Seattle. :) That's where I grew up. Almost the only way to get into the city is over bridges and it rains quite a bit there...you know, the stories are true...it's just not as bad as everyone imagines.
And no, not everyone there has a boat. :)
And thanks for your comments on my blog!
ROBIN! I am so happy you came to my blog. I feel honored!
melnel, my brother lives in Seattle but is moving back to Texas in ONE month! I am so happy! But I will now not get to visit him in Seattle! I can handle bridges that go over water but not big mix master bridges in the city!
A great list, Amanda! See? We all know a lot more about you now.
How funny you have a dog but not a good relationship with it - surely you're not afraid of your own dog? Cause if you are, you should maybe give it away? Bridges that go over ANYTHING scare me and the absolute worst are those bridges that span over canyons and you're supposed to walk across them. I do NOT think so. No way.
Great job. I loved it.
Barb, my kids love the dog and so does my husband. I do like her, I just don't touch her. I would be sad to loose her though.
You're funny. Of course you wouldn't give your dog away. :-) I have a little shih tzu, Chelsea. She's like my baby. But I've had some dogs in the past I wasn't at all attached to.
I fear flying too -- :) I brought scripture verses with me my last time flying. I know fear is from Satan...
I enjoyed you doing this, by the way! Yes, we should share the Lord with others - but God wants us to enjoy our lives too. :)Having a little fun is okay!! :)
Cool post! I love the 7 things. I'm new to blogging, so this is really cool. I don't think I REALLY know anyone who blogs, so it's neat to get to know the people I read.
Stop by my blog anytime :-)
I also have TMJ but lost my night guard! I should probably get a new one but I haven't gotten around to it yet!
I can't stand scary movies either!
Hi Amanda! This is Mandy, aka In a Moment. Barb's daughter, Bev's neice, Sarah's cousin - you get the picture. Just thought I'd stop by and loved the post!
I call my fiance Clark, because what he does to his house at Christmas is unreal! Now he is determined to hang twinkle lights at the reception - regardless of where we have it! I was defined by cheerleading as a teenager, and would love to be a Dallas Cowboy, but agree with your note on the uniforms - they show more than they cover!
This was fantastic, and funny! Your children sound so sweet! I harbor a lot of the same fears as you! I will definitely continue to visit your blog.
Funny you should post about the number seven...that is what I just posted about today in honor of my daughter's birthday!
Anyway, add me to another who wanted to say thank you for visiting my blog...especailly since it was never originally suppose to be a public blog when I first started in last month. Only now am I discovering this whole new world. :)
Blessings...
~Tammy
Amanda, CONGRATULATIONS on baby #3! That is exciting. I hope you are doing well.
Richelle, so good to hear from you! I am sure you are rockin' with The Sweet Diva! I have a very good friend in Culinary School right now in Dallas for Pastry. She is a talented cupcake maker! Y'all are so creative with your baking!
I'm with you on the roller coasters, I hate them.
BTW, I just read this post in more detail and hope it makes you feel better to know that I have already listened to Christmas music this year. I love it!
Robin, you would not believe the grief I get over my Christmas frenzy! Just yesterday I found myself getting excited about craft fairs and Hobby Lobby's Christmas sales that they have WEEKLY! Oh I can't WAIT!!!!
